9 year old Rachel is a lovely shy girl who writes her diary as if she is writing a letter to herself. She becomes best friends with the off the wall but still lovable Valerie in her new class. This movie talks about their teachers, friends and family with hidden humor at the most unexpected places yet looks on with the warmest regards at each character. Agnes Jaoui who is known for her role in films such as 'Look at Me' and directing 'The Taste of Others' shines through in this particular movie as well. The child actors who have been picked after a competition of 600:1 are no less stellar. It was a sellout box office hit during the 17th Busan International Film Festival. 단편 <타인의 키스>, <가장 오래된 고민> 이후 2007년 첫 장편 <엄마의 머릿속>을 연출하였다. 라파엘 무사피르의 소설을 각색한 두 번째 장편 <나에게서 온 편지>(2012)는 아녜스 자우이, 드니 포달리데스, 이자벨 카레 등 프랑스 명배우들이 출연했다. 네 편의 청소년 대상 소설을 쓴 작가이기도 하다.
